What do (A)I know? Check out the friendly introductory space “AI4LAM”
Are you interested in artificial intelligence but unsure where to start? Do you work in a library, museum, or archive and wonder how AI could impact or impacts your field? The AI4LAM (AI for Libraries, Archives, and Museums) community is hosting 90-minute onboarding calls designed to provide a welcoming space for anyone curious about AI in cultural heritage institutions.
These interactive sessions begin with a brief introduction to AI in libraries, museums, and archives. After that, participants join breakout rooms to explore specific topics. You can ask AI-related questions, get guidance on starting your own AI experiments, or connect with others in the field. If you’re interested in AI but don’t know where to start, these calls are for you.
The content of each session remains the same, they are scheduled at different times to accommodate global participation.
