The Way To a Well Managed Rolling Stock Collection
SBB Historic has a rolling stock collection with about 170 vehicles. Out of them 10 steam engines, 29 electric engines and 51 passenger cars are useable in historic trains. In 2011 the management of SBB Historic has focussed on several challenges in relation with the rolling stock collection. In answer to this challenges SBB Historic has developed a strategy and a collection concept for the rolling stock collection. Further SBB Historic has introduced new working methods how to manage and to maintain the rolling stock collection.
