Erik de Zwart is a radio- and TV presenter and media-entrepreneur from The Netherlands. Since 1978 he has been presenting various radio programmes and since the 80s he has also been presenting several music programmes on television. He has been at the heart of the creation of the commercial radio station 538, market leader in The Netherlands and TMF the music video clip channel that was sold to MTV. In 2009 he was awarded the Marconi Oeuvre Award for his substantial, political and commercial merits, both behind the scenes and in the spotlights of Dutch radio. Besides being a radio- and TV presenter and media entrepreneur, Erik is also a huge train aficionado.
