Laura Wright

Laura Wright has been CEO of The Postal Museum since June 2018. In this role she is responsible for ensuring that the museum fulfils its mission and is open to as wide an audience as possible while also remaining financially sustainable.
The story of the post is the story of human connection and Laura enjoys discovering the histories contained within the museum’s collection and ensuring that they are accessible to a really diverse group of visitors.
Prior to being at The Postal Museum she was CEO of Tate Enterprises, the revenue generating company belonging to Tate galleries, for 8 years, having originally joined Tate in 1999 prior to the opening of Tate Modern. In that role she oversaw publishing, retail, licensing and product development for all four Tate galleries.
Outside of work she is a Trustee of Turner Contemporary and the Association of Cultural Enterprises.
